What Is Myofunctional Therapy?
mEET Michelle
Myofunctional Therapist | Airway Health Specialist | Registered Dental Hygienist | 30+ Years in Dentistry
Over the past five years, my work has focused on myofunctional therapy within the broader context of airway health and dental sleep medicine, building on more than three decades of experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist.
Restoring the foundational functions that support healthy breathing, restful sleep, and balanced oral muscle activity is at the core of my practice. My perspective is grounded in decades of clinical observation and a thoughtful commitment to understanding what truly supports long-term health—often by identifying patterns and connections that may otherwise go unnoticed.
Why Choose
Myofunctional
Therapy?
Many people arrive feeling frustrated and exhausted. They’ve spent time searching for answers, trying different approaches, or being told everything looks “normal,” even though their symptoms persist.
That’s where my work is different. Myofunctional therapy only works when the person guiding it understands how breathing, oral function, airway health, sleep, and dental structure all interact.

Services & Packages
Myofunctional therapy is offered in structured programs because meaningful, lasting change requires consistency and guided support. These programs address the underlying causes of concerns such as mouth breathing, snoring, restless sleep, tongue thrust, swallowing patterns, and unhealthy oral muscle habits through targeted, guided myofunctional therapy.
Therapy is provided as a structured program rather than individual sessions.
